National SME advisory panel

The National SME advisory panel is a consultative public-private body advising Government on the Small and Medium Enterprise sector. It is a platform for ongoing dialogue between the private and public-sector leaders and decision makers, on issues pertaining to the environment of doing business for small businesses. It is made up of key government officials and leading business figures and has a target of ensuring that by 2022, Ugshs 3,000 of every Ushs 10,000 invested by Government in goods and services goes to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Current Members of the Panel are:

  4. Patrick Oyuru-Director, Marketing-Cocacola
  5. Constance Kakihembo-Executive Director, Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association
  6. Douglas Opio-Executive Director-Federation of Uganda Employers
  7. Victoria Sekitoleko-Chairperson, Uganda Agribusiness Alliance
  8. John K. Walugembe-Executive Director, Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises
  9. Patricia Ojangole-Managing Director-Uganda Development Bank
