Budget Submissions

The National Budget is the key instrument through which Government implements its policies. The National Budget Framework Paper (BFP) published each year, lays out the fiscal policy framework and strategy for the Budget Year.  In response to the Budget Framework Paper, FSME conducts consultations with its members and consolidates their views/recommendations into a budget submission. These views are considered by Government in developing and approving the budget for the next financial year, by 31st May of each financial year.  If you have any views on rules and regulations that hinder your business or stifle entrepreneurship, productivity and innovation, you can send your comments to FSME, for consideration in the next budget submission.  Below are our most recent budget submissions.

  • Budget submission 2017
  • Pre-budget submission 2016
  • Pre-budget submission 2015
